This training is designed to introduce PhD students to the principles and practices of Open Science, with a special focus on research data management (RDM) and Data Management Plans (DMPs). Participants will learn why and how to manage their research data effectively, how to ensure compliance with funder and institutional requirements, and how to increase the visibility and impact of their research through open access publishing, data sharing, and the use of persistent identifiers such as ORCID and DOIs. The course combines practical guidance with concrete tools and examples, providing early-career researchers with the skills needed to make their research more transparent, reproducible, and impactful.
